THANK YOU

Anna and family would like to thank everyone for making the Tribute Night such a special event.

Thanks to everyone who attended and to all those who wanted to be there but couldn't make it.

The main purpose of the evening was to pay tribute to Tim as a friend and musician and honour his memory.
And Tim would have been very glad to know that we used the event to raise money for Railway Children (India) and we have raised £1129.72 so far with still some donations to come in.
Thank you for your generosity.

Thanks for all the donations, raffle prizes and auction lots.
Also to Jane for filming, Nick and Martin for the sound, to Dave and Old Nick for organising the music and to all the wonderful  musicians who played during the evening.

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Anna and family

The Evening

A benefit night remembering Tim Disney the singer, songwriter and harmonica player, a beacon in the musical history of Nottingham, also a very well loved man about town. Nottingham will be a slightly smaller place without him
The evening will see friends and fellow musicians paying tribute to the memory of Tim Disney in the best way possible, playing a variety of songs and music lead by The Old Nick Trading Company.

There will be activities during the night raising funds for Tim’s favourite charity, Railway Children (India).
Over 12 million children live on the streets of India, with an estimated 120,000 more arriving on platforms every year. In simple terms, a child arrives alone on a railway platform every five minutes. www.railwaychildren.org.uk
